Yerevan/Mediamax/. “Contact” money transfer system announced today increase of turnover in Armenia in the first quarter, 2010.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of the system that the volume of “Contact” money transfers in Armenia increased on average for $2mln monthly in January, February and March, and, as a result, the quarterly index exceeded by 7% the level of the first quarter, 2009.

“The basis for increase of the number and volume of transactions, realized by Contact system, is the sizes of the commission fee, reduced in late 2009, and the wide coverage of the system service outlets’ network in Armenia. “Contact” is one of the leaders in the republic’s market of money transfers. Armenian Post and over half of the Armenian banks cooperate with the system”, President and Chairman of the Board of “Russlavbank” Nikolay Gusman stated.
