Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian met with Regional Director of International Finance Corporation on Central and Eastern Europe Snezhana Stoykovitch in Yerevan today. Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Armenian government that the sides expressed necessity to elaborate new initiatives, directed at liquidating the consequences of the economic crisis. During the meeting they discussed issues of reforms in entrepreneurship and inspection sectors, provided for by the program of measures of the government on improving business climate. As a priority direction for cooperation, Tigran Sargsian noted IFC’s participation in IT sector funding, as well as introduction of the culture of corporate management, in particular, in formation of the institute of independent directors. Prime Minister described IFC’s involvement in venture funds in process of formation in Armenia as promising, stressing the necessity to elaborate participation forms. Tweet Views 13900
