Yerevan/Mediamax/. Foreign trade turnover of Armenia made AMD 235.7bln or USD 625.2mln in January-February, 2010, having increased by 22.5%, as compared to the same period of 2009.

As Mediamax was informed in the National Statistical Service of Armenia today, export volume increased by 53.5%, making AMD 46bln or USD 121.4mln in the accounting period. Import in January-February, 2010, increased by 16.8%, as compared to the same period of 2009, making AMD 189.7bln or USD 503.8mln.

Deficit of foreign trade balance in the accounting period made AMD 143.7bln or USD 382.4mln.
