Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian banking system is one of the most stable and reliable on CIS territory, President of “Troika Dialog” Group of Companies, Chairman of “Ameriabank” Board Ruben Vardanyan stated in Yerevan today.

Mediamax reports that Ruben Vardanyan stated that “Armenian banks, despite the quite serious cataclysms, have quite successfully withstood the last year’s crisis period”.

“Now we are in quite an indefinite period. The world has the clear understanding of what should be changed, but no idea of how exactly”, Ruben Vardanyan stated, specifying that among the key issues of reviving the global financial system are issues of control over banks and the correlation of the debt liabilities and the capital.

Chairman of “Ameriabank” Board expressed opinion that the most difficult period for Armenian economy is already behind. He noted that construction of a new nuclear power plant, deepening of relations with Iran and Russia, as well as the possible opening of the Armenian-Turkish border will be of great importance for further development of economy.
