Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian government made a decision today on establishing a subdivision for audit activity control in the Ministry of Finance.

As Armenian Minister of Finance Tigran Davtyan stated at the session of the government, in the view of implementing mandatory audit system for large enterprises in the country, there is the necessity of control over audit companies.

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian stated that this is the first step of the government along the path of intensifying control over audit activity. “In future we will turn to the National Assembly with a legislative initiative on setting up a separate regulatory body”, the Prime Minister stated.
