European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) provided “Ameriabank” with a $10mln loan for lending to medium and large enterprise Mediamax reports that the agreement was signed by Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of “Ameriabank” Artak Anesyan and EBRD Director on Financial Institutions in Central Asia, the Caucasus and Mongolia Mike Taylor. “Ameriabank” will allocate $10mln from its own means for implementing the program on co-financing. “The co-financing line will allow “Ameriabank” customers getting access to long-term financing, the lack of which is still felt in Armenia”, Mike Taylor stated. Artak Anesyan stressed importance of the bank’s cooperation with EBRD, noting that in the nearest future they expect to sign two new loan agreements with the European Bank on funding small and medium enterprise and trade. Bank General Director noted that the average volume of loans within the framework of the agreement signed today will make $1-2mln, which will be issued in USD for current customers of “Ameriabank”. Speaking about priority directions of co-crediting of medium and large enterprises, Artak Anesyan noted the export-oriented enterprises, in particular, food industry. Artak Anesyan also informed that this year “Ameriabank” intends to increase its credit portfolio from the current $150mln to $230mln. Tweet Views 12139
