Yerevan /Mediamax/. In January, 2010, Armenian GDP increased by 2.4%, as compared to January-December, 2009. As Mediamax was informed in the National Statistical Service of Armenia today, GDP volume in January made 149bln 491.4mln AMD. Volume of industrial production in January, 2010, made 53bln 657.4mln AMD, having increased by 6.5%, as compared to 2009. There is decline still observed in construction sphere, which made 10.7% in January, 2010. Average monthly salary increased in Armenia in January, 2010, by 8.8%, as compared to 2009, making 101 704 AMD. At that, the salary in budgetary organizations increased by 12.3% and made 86 499 AMD in the accounting period, while in non-budgetary organizations it made 123 966 AMD (increase – 5.2%).Armenian export increased by 57.5% in January, 2010Foreign trade turnover of Armenia made AMD 114bln or USD 296.4mln in January, 2010, having increased by 14.8%, as compared to the same period of 2009. As Mediamax was informed in the National Statistical Service of Armenia today, export volume increased by 57.5%, making AMD 20.3bln or USD 53.9mln in the accounting period. Import in January, 2010, increased by 8.3%, as compared to 2009, making AMD 93.7bln or USD 242.5mln. Deficit of foreign trade balance in January, 2010, made AMD 73.4bln or USD 188.6mln.
