Yerevan /Mediamax/. By the end of April, “Unibank” will open three new branches: two in the capital and one in Agarak town. As Mediamax was informed in the press service of the bank, “Avan” branch will be registered and will start servicing customers in February, “Achapnyak” in March, “Agarak” branch in April. The new branches will provide the entire spectrum of “Unibank” services, including reception of utility service payments by UNIPAY system. “In a short period of time, UNIPAY managed to become popular among the population. The service was launched in October, 2009, and the number of customers in 5 months of work exceeded 9 thousands. The number of “Unibank” active customers makes about 85 thousands”, Director on Operational Activity of the bank Elisa Mheryan stated. By the end of the year, “Unibank” will open 9 new branches all in all, making the number of branches reach 43. Simultaneously with expanding the branch network, “Unibank” continues reequipment of the branches in corporate style. In March, “Artashat” and “Kapan” branches will be moved to new premises, by the end of the first half of the year construction of the new premise for “Gyumri” branch will be completed. Following the results of 2009, the asses of “Unibank” increased by 58% and made over 108,6bln AMD. The bank’s capital in the accounting period made 11.6bln AMD, the increase made 22.8%, as compared to the index at the beginning of the year. The credit investments of the bank increased by almost 43%, and their volume made 66.7bln AMD. In 2009, “Unibank” liabilities increased by 63.6% and made 97bln AMD.
