Yerevan /Mediamax/. “HayPost” national postal operator in Armenia will realize customs mediation.

As the Minister of Transport and Communication of Armenia Gurgen Sargsian stated at a briefing in Yerevan today, this decision was made today at the session of the government, aiming at facilitating the procedure of issuing postal loads to citizens.

Speaking about the result of the national postal operator’s activity, Gurgen Sargsian stated that in 2009, the company for the first time registered profit at the volume of 1.2bln AMD. Last year, there were 30 postal departments repaired, 50 more offices are to be modernized this year.

Answering the question on the terms of PostBank opening, Gurgen Sargsian stated that the first postal banking department will start functioning in spring, 2009.
