As Mediamax was informed in the National Statistical Service of Armenia, GDP volume made 3 trillion 165bln 538.1mln AMD or $8.71bln in 2009. The volume of industrial production made 663bln 921.1mln AMD ($1.83bln) in the country in 2009, having reduced by 7.8%, as compared to 2008. The most significant decline was registered in construction sphere (36.4%). The average monthly salary increased by 9.8% in Armenia in 2009, as compared to 2008, and made 101 895 AMD or $280.5. At that, the salary in budget organizations increased by 15.5% and made 84 845 AMD in the accounting period.
