Yerevan /Mediamax/. In 2010, the volumes of bank deposits, subject to guarantee, will be increased in Armenia.

Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Artur Javadyan said this in the parliament today.

He noted that the maximum sum of guarantee for AMD deposits will be increased from 2 to 4 mln AMD and for deposits in foreign currency – from 1 to 2mln AMD.

The corresponding draft law will be submitted to the consideration of the Armenian parliament in 2010.

All 22 banks, functioning in Armenia, are included in the system of deposits guarantee.--0--
