Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia improved its positions in “Doing Business 2010” rating for 7 points, occupying the 43rd place among 183 countries of the world. Mediamax was informed in Yerevan Office of the World Bank that, all in all, improvement has been registered in Armenia in running business as to three aspects over the past year: starting a business, getting credit information and trading across borders. According to “Doing Business 2010” report, as to the procedure of starting a business, Armenia has improved its indices for 44 points (21st place), as to trading across borders Armenia’s indices in the rating improved for 34 points (102nd place), as to procedures, related to dealing with construction permits – for 3 points (72nd place), as to registering property – 1 point (5th place). At the same time, Armenia’s ratings lowered as to difficulty of hiring and firing employees (for 5 points, 62nd place), getting credit (for 2 points, 43rd place), protecting investors (5 points, 93rd place), paying taxes (2 points, 153rd place), ease or difficulty of enforcing commercial contracts (1 points, 62nd place). Georgia improved its indices in “Doing Business 2010” rating for 4 points, occupying the 11th place, Azerbaijan’s position did not change from the last year (38th place). Tweet Views 11248
