Yerevan /Mediamax/. Pension reforms in Armenia will begin in 2011, Chairman of State Social Insurance Fund Vazgen Khachikyan informed today. Mediamax informs, Vazgen Khachikyan said, speaking at news conference in Yerevan today, the global financial economic crisis became the main reason of delay in reform beginning to switch over to accumulation pension system. He announced that International Advisory Board, which will present guideline for switching over to accumulation pension system, will begin to operate in Yerevan in August-September.Vazgen Khachikyan stated that despite the crisis, citizens of Armenia receive pensions without delays. According to him, pension system in Armenia managed to resist the crisis due to balanced scheme of financial recourses receipts and expenditures. Vazgen Khachikyan refrained from making forecasts concerning the possibility to increase base pension volume in 2010. Today, 517 thousand pensioners are registered in Armenia, base pension volume makes 25 900AMD. Tweet Views 14326
