Yerevan /Mediamax/. Average size of individuals’ deposits increased by 26% in 2008 and made over 242bln AMD. As Mediamax was informed in the Armenian Deposit Guarantee Fund (ADGF), the number of depositors, having guaranteed deposits, including the ones, who had accounts in USSR “Sberbank” (Savings Bank), made 4 287 000 in 2008, which is for 136 829 depositors more, as compared in 2007. The Fund noted that ADGF means in 2008 were invested in governmental bonds (95.68%), bonds of the Central Bank of Armenia (3.47%) and in the form of deposits and accounts in CB (0.85%). The Loan of the German government at the volume of 3.5mln EUR, aiming at realizing a program on consolidating the system for guaranteeing compensation of banking deposits and accounts of individuals was transferred to CB in the form of a deposit. In 2008, the average index of one-day deposit made 169, 812.83mln AMD, and the allowed volume of administrative expenses and capital investments of the Fund made 50,943.85thousand AMD. Factual administrative expenses and capital investments of the Fund made 42% of the allowed level. Let’s note that the annual administrative expenses and capital investments of the Fund cannot exceed the level of 0.03% from the average index of one-day deposit of banks, which realized the deposit guaranteeing.
