Yerevan /Mediamax/. Economic development of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) should become a priority for Armenia. Mediamax reports that Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian said this, speaking at Bridge Artsakh economic forum “State and Business: from Dialogue to Partnership” in Stepanakert. According to the Prime Minister, the level of life in Nagorno-Karabakh should be higher than in Armenia. Among important directions of NKR economy development, Tigran Sargsian, along with the agrarian sector and the processing industry, named tourism. He noted that today NKR is not ready to host a large number of tourists and suggested the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia elaborating a development program for tourism in Nagorno-Karabakh.
