Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian government made decisions today, aiming at overcoming the consequences of the economic crisis. Mediamax reports that the government decided to cancel till January 1, 2011, inspections at all small and medium enterprises (SME), the annual turnover of which following the results of 2008, did not exceed 70mln AMD. The decision does not have effect only on inspections, realized by representatives of the State Revenue Committee. Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian described the decision as “unprecedented” and reminded that there are 22 establishments functioning in Armenia, which realize inspections of SME subjects. The Prime Minister stressed that the given decision is made by the order of the Armenian President. Tigran Sargsian stated that inspections may be realized in exceptional cases by the special order of the Prime Minister. “This measure aims at increasing the resistibility of representatives of small and medium enterprise towards the influence of the global crisis”, the Prime Minister stated.
