Yerevan /Mediamax/. Over 30 thousand schoolchildren from 570 schools of Armenia participated in international math competition “Kangaroo 2009”.

From all over Armenia, answers from schoolchildren are received today by the office of “Ayb” Educational Foundation, which has organized the competition. As Mediamax was told in the press service of the Foundation, the packages with answers are sent via branches of VTB-Armenia Bank, which is the general partner of the competition.

The answers of the schoolchildren will be checked and assessed by a special computer program. In late April, each school will receive a report on the results of their schoolchildren’s participation. According to the rules of Kengourou sans Frontieres International Association, the problems and the answers for “Kangaroo 2009” will be published on April 20 at the websites of participant counties.

Awarding of prizes in all marzes of Armenia is planned to take place in May.
