Yerevan /Mediamax/. Chief Executive Officer of “Star” supermarket chain Vahan Qerobyan stated today that the company is against ungrounded increase of prices for goods.

As Mediamax was told in the press service of “Star”, today the leadership of the largest trade chain of Armenia made a decision on partial increase of prices for import production of certain categories of goods.

“Here we talk about consignments, which will be purchased from suppliers at updated prices”, the statement reads.

“We have categorically negative attitude towards allowing ourselves gaining profit from the present situation and we aim at restraining increase of prices as much as possible. In this direction, we work with suppliers and already have positive results”, Vahan Qerobyan stated.
