Issue of electricity import and export between Armenia and Azerbaijan discussed in Lachin

Representatives of Armenia’s Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure and the Armenian Electricity System Operator, as well as Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy and Azerenergy, met today in the city of Lachin.

The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia reported that during the working meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of electricity imports and exports between the two countries. The meeting also addressed possible options for interconnecting the energy infrastructure of the two countries at the state border.
