INGO Armenia ICJSC and the Universal Health Insurance Fund have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at combining the experience and capacity of the public and private sectors to improve the quality of services within the framework of the universal health insurance system.

The memorandum was signed by Rafik Suvaryan, Chief Executive Officer of INGO Armenia ICJSC, and Samvel Kharazyan, Acting Executive Director of the Universal Health Insurance Fund.

The memorandum provides a basis for expanded cooperation, including the development of new partnership models, the execution of joint initiatives, and sustained efforts to advance Armenia’s universal health insurance system.

“From the very early stages of shaping the concept of universal health insurance, INGO has supported this initiative and expressed its readiness to contribute to the establishment and development of the system. For us, this cooperation is not only a business partnership, but also a professional commitment and responsibility to apply our experience and expertise in support of an initiative that aligns private sector resources with the public interest and measurable results,” said CEO of INGO Armenia ICJSC Rafik Suvaryan.

The parties are confident that the signed memorandum will serve as a solid foundation for long-term and effective cooperation, contributing to the institutional development of the universal health insurance system in Armenia.

“Public-private sector cooperation is of key importance for the successful implementation of a universal health insurance system. Cooperation with INGO Armenia can become a precedent for increasing the role and importance of insurance,” added Samvel Kharazyan, Acting Executive Director of the Universal Health Insurance Fund.
