On 21 October 2025 Armeconombank and the German development finance institution DEG-Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH, a subsidiary of KfW Group, signed a loan agreement worth 30 million US Dollars, proceeds from which will be directed to on-lending to and development of micro, small and medium enterprises in Armenia.

The bank reported that this agreement marks the second deal between Armeconombank and DEG. 

Armeconombank maintained a partnership with KfW for more than 25 years, collaborating on various development projects implemented in Armenia.

It is noted that Armeconombank signed loan agreements and transactions with international lending institutions for the purpose of MSME lending and trade finance in 2025 for an amount equivalent to approximately USD 87 million.

Armeconombank is supervised by the Central Bank of Armenia.
