Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Masato Kanda announced the passing of Don Lambert, ADB Country Director for Armenia.“It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of Don Lambert, ADB’s Country Director for Armenia, who died last night after a long illness.Don exemplified the very best of ADB’s mission and values throughout his remarkable 17-year career with us. Even in his final weeks, he demonstrated extraordinary dedication, continuing to serve Armenia and our development goals with unwavering commitment.Just two weeks ago, I had the honor of visiting Don and his family at his home to present him with a plaque recognizing his exceptional service to Asia and the Pacific’s development. It was a privilege to witness firsthand his passion for our work and his deep care for the communities we serve.Don’s leadership in Armenia helped deliver transformative results, from critical infrastructure projects to educational initiatives.
