Safe YOU, the international platform dedicated to women’s safety and empowerment, has partnered with Freedom Broker Armenia to launch a free financial literacy course available on the Safe YOU app. 

The program, located in the Forum section, offers nine practical lessons to help women build financial independence and confidence.

Developed by Freedom Academy, the course combines expert-led sessions, interactive quizzes, and real-life applications, ensuring that users not only understand financial concepts but can also apply them in daily life.

“Financial literacy transforms lives. It’s not just about saving or budgeting, but about confidence, dignity, and hope. When women gain control over their finances, entire communities benefit,” said Ovak Ovakimian, CEO of Freedom Broker Armenia.

The news release reports that this initiative aligns with global research, including the World Bank’s Gender Strategy, which highlights women’s financial inclusion as both a driver of equity and economic development.

“Financial literacy is a form of protection. Safety and opportunity must go hand in hand. This course is about agency and independence,” added Mariam Torosyan, founder of Safe YOU.

The course is now available to all users on the Safe YOU app via Google Play and the App Store.
