Yerevan /Mediamax/. 13 banks and 3 credit organizations entered the list of 300 top tax-payers of Armenia, which was publicized today following the results of 2008.

Mediamax reports that the largest tax-payer of Armenia’s banking sector in 2008 was “ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank”. The total sum of the taxes, paid by the bank, made 2,287,255.8 thousand AMD – in the list of largest tax-payers of Armenia “ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank” occupies the 28th place.

“Ardshininvestbank”, which paid taxes at the volume of 2,132,380.4 thousand AMD, is in the 32nd place of the list. The 52nd line of the list is occupied by “HSBC Bank Armenia” (1,542,867.4 thousand AMD).

The list also included “Armeconombank” (80th place, 949,352.9 thousands), “Unibank” (87th place, 869,187.1 thousands), “Converse Bank” (92nd place, 833,630.7 thousands), “VTB Bank (Armenia)” (97th place, 787,458.6 thousands), “Inecobank” (146th place, 537,194.0 thousands), “Armbusinessbank” (147th place, 535,667.2 thousands), “Ameriabank” (204th place, 377,429.1 thousands), “Anelik Bank” (205th place, 376,713.5 thousands), “Areximbank” (258th place, 295,252,3 thousands) and “Armenian Development Bank” (262nd place, 285,739.0 thousands).

The 218th place in the list is occupied by “Aregak” Universal Credit Organization, which paid a total of 349,300.5 thousand AMD in the form of taxed in 4 quarters of 2008. The 227th place is occupied by “Finca” Universal Credit Organization (329,189.9 thousand AMD), and the 228th place – by “Norvik” Universal Credit Organization (328,924.1 thousand AMD).

As to the sum of social payments, “ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank” leads in the financial sector of Armenia (19th place, 377,161.5 thousand AMD). The 20th position is occupied by “Ardshininvestbank” (375,845.1 thousands), and the 26th place – “VTB Bank (Armenia)” (267,907.7 thousand AMD).
