Two Nobel Prize laureates will participate in the second international scientific conference “Transforming Economy” to be held at the Faculty of Economics and Management of Yerevan State University from October 8 to 10.

Dean of the Faculty Karlen Khachatryan stated that 2008 and 2024 Nobel Prize winners in economics Paul Krugman and Daron Acemoglu have confirmed their participation.

“A few years ago, it was difficult to imagine that we would be able to initiate a truly international conference with a wide range of participants.

I express my gratitude to all my colleagues who spared no effort to implement this idea,” said Karlen Khachatryan.
