Yerevan /Mediamax/. Ara Grigoryan, who had been heading “Pernod Ricard Ukraine” Company since 2001, is appointed new General Director of Yerevan Brandy Company (YBC). Mediamax reports referring the statement by Pernod Ricard that in the period that when Ara Grigoryan headed the Company, sales volumes in Ukraine increased from 185 thousand liters to 2.3mln liters per year. “Ara Grigoryan was considered to be the main candidate for the position of YBC Director, since he has significant experience of managerial work and at the same time has mastered the principles of large-scale production. And since in conditions of instability of the financial sector and economic stagnation it is extremely important to preserve and adapt production capacities, the Board of Directors made a decision to appoint him”, the statement of the company reads.
