Yerevan /Mediamax/. The volume of deposits, attracted by commercial banks of Armenia as of the end of November, 2008, made 462bln 131mln AMD, having decreased, as compared to October, for 13bln 319mln AMD. As Mediamax was told in the National Statistical Service, the volume of residents’ deposits made in late November 394bln 266mln AMD, having decreased as compared to October for 20bln 837mln AMD, while deposits by non-residents increased for 7 518mln in the accounting period, making 67 865mln AMD. The volume of deposits in foreign currency as of the end of November made 203 391mln AMD, in national currency – 258 741mln AMD. The remainder on deposits in banks as of November 30, 2008, made 202 397mln AMD, having decreased as compared to October, by 2.1% and increased as compared to the same period of 2007 by 24.5%. Credit portfolio of commercial banks of Armenia as of the end of November, 2008, made 634bln 226mln AMD, having increased as compared to October for 3 855mln AMD. The volume of credits, provided by banks in foreign currency as of the end of November made 242 534mln AMD, in national currency – 391 692mln AMD.
