EasyPay announces new options for fast money transfers from Russia to Armenia via easywallet. It is now possible to receive transfers from T-Bank (formerly known as Tinkoff Bank) directly to one’s easywallet account via their phone number.

According to the bank’s specified limits, monthly transfers of up to 20 000 rubles are commission-free. If the limit is exceeded, the sender will be charged a 1% commission fee on the excess amount. For example, if a user has transferred 20 000 rubles and makes another transfer of 10 000 rubles within 30 days, a 1% commission on the 10 000 rubles will be charged, totaling 100 rubles. T-Bank has an offer for larger transfers without commission.

A T-Bank user can make up to 20 transfers a day, each ranging from 50 to 150 000 rubles. The monthly transfer limit is 5 000 000 rubles.

To transfer money to an easywallet account, the T-Bank user should do the following:

1.    Go to the “Payments” section in the T-Bank app, then tap the entry box in the “Transfer by phone number” section.
2.    On the next page, select Armenia from the list of countries and enter the recipient’s phone number or choose the relevant contact.
3.    Select easywallet from the list of banks.
4.    Enter the amount in rubles or drams; the live exchange rate will be visible.
5.    Click the “Transfer” button.

To receive transfers from T-Bank to Armenia, one needs to download easywallet, register and pass verification, and attach a bank card or open a bank account directly in the app.
