Armenian Card has a new CEO. On June 11, ArCa officially announced the appointment of Vardan Khachatryan as the new CEO. Prior to this role, Khachatryan served as the Director of Risk Management within the organization. It's worth noting that Ishkhan Mkhitaryan was the preceding holder of the CEO position. Vardan Khachatryan has extensive experience in Armenia's financial and banking system. Having worked for around 15 years at the Central Bank of Armenia, he has held various positions including Head of the Payment Systems Participant Supervision Division, Head of the Foreign Exchange Operations Supervision Division, Deputy Head of the Microfinance Organizations Supervision Service, Credit Risk Specialist at the Financial Supervision Department, and several other positions... Emphasizing his commitment to professional growth and development, Vardan Khachatryan has actively engaged in numerous training programs conducted by central banks and prominent companies across the USA, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, and other countries. Hovhannes Khachatryan, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Armenian Card, stated, "ArCa holds critically strategic significance for Armenia.
