Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisian proposed the representatives of World Bank## (WB) Yerevan Office to discuss with the WB leadership the issue of accelerating the process of providing Armenia $250mln for small and medium enterprise crediting.

As Mediamax was told in the press service of the government, Tigran Sarkisian reminded at the meeting with WB Yerevan Office Head Aristomene Varoudakis that the corresponding agreement on allocating loan means was reached during his recent visit to Washington.

The Prime Minister stressed that the Armenian program for SME crediting was once recognized as the best in the world by KfW German bank, and the government intends to apply the successful practice, sharply increasing the crediting volumes, taking into account the existing demand.

Tigran Sarkisian assured that the Armenian banks are ready for placement of large sums.

He also noted that talks are held with other financial institutions as well, aiming at attracting means.
