Personal money transfers from Russia to Armenia in June this year amounted to over $450 million.Russian Kommersant writes that this makes more than 75% of all funds transferred to Armenia by individuals in June.“This is an absolute record which almost doubles the previous one set in May ($266 million). Before May, the largest volume of transfers from Russia to Armenia fell on July 2013 and did not reach $200 million,” the paper writes.In Georgia, the volume of transfers from Russia is declining after a peak of $313 million recorded in May.
