Orion Summit 2022 took place in Yerevan, Matenadaran on June 22, bringing together authoritative reputable companies from Armenia, U.S., the Philippines, and Lithuania.  

During the Summit, the world-class founders, investors, advisors, and professionals in technology, finance, business, and other fields participated in 5 panel discussions. Mark Chenian, a veteran of investment banking, and a member of the board of directors of the Armenian Society of Fellows, was the keynote speaker at Orion Summit 2022.

“We must always move forward, not limited to just talking about creating good conditions for startups and the IT sector. The mission of the Summit is to develop Armenia, to achieve accelerated growth, as the participants of this event are also building the ecosystem. The employee stock ownership plan, mergers, and acquisitions, as well as the development of unicorns, are the topics that can be the basis of serious changes,” said Emma Arakelyan, Founder of Orion Worldwide Innovations.

“Orion Summit will continue. The summit is turning into a platform for deals. The goal is to give Armenian startups an opportunity to network and cooperate with the largest global companies. We started in Yerevan, next year the Summit will take place in New York and then in Frankfurt,” said Diana Arzumanyan, Co-Founder of Orion Worldwide Innovations Armenia.

Armenia’s Ministry of the High-Tech Industry and the Central Bank of Armenia made a great contribution to the high-level discussions of Orion Summit 2022. The summit brought together  leading companies such as Ameriabank, SADA, Adobe, Grant Thornton, EY and other partners.

During the summit, the Digital Julfa Network was launched, which is an initiative bringing together the Pan-Armenian intellectual, technological, commercial and cultural potential.
