Yerevan /Mediamax/. The growth of Armenia’s GDP in January-August of 2008 totaled 10,3%, as compared to the same period of 2007. As the press service of the National Statistical Service of Armenia told Mediamax today, the GDP volume in January-August of 2008 totaled 2 164 567,8mln drams ($7,15bln). The volume of industrial production in the republic in January-August of 2008 stood at 496 157,0mln drams, having increased by 2.2%, as compared to the same period of 2007.The average monthly salary in Armenia in January-August of 2008 increased by 21.2%, as compared to the same period of 2007, thus making 88 983 drams. At that the salary of budget organizations increased by 17.8%, making 62 721 drams during the accounting period, and the salary of non-budget organizations stood at 110 154 drams (growth – 20,1%).
