The technologically advanced brand-new application AraratMobile offers a new money transfer tool – Flight. The new tool enables making money transfers from AMD 1000 to AMD 1,000,000 or the equivalent in foreign currency through WhatsApp, Viber, Messenger, SMS, Mail, Skype, Telegram and other messengers to AraratBank as well as ArCa-member bank cards.Gayane Stepanyan, Head of the Digital Banking Department at AraratBank, presented a number of advantages of Flight, underscoring that it was launched simultaneously with the new version of the AraratMobile application back on November 15, 2021, although the beta version of the application was run from September 16. The new tool of remittance is reliable and completely secure, since the remitter and remittee do not exchange any information containing personal data. “In simple terms, a remittee does not provide a remitter, and the latter does not require the numbers embossed on the card and the CVV code on the reverse of the card, indicating only the amount to be transferred. The remitter simply selects the account to be debited, enters the amount to be transferred in the respective field and by clicking the TRANSFER button, generates the link and shares it with the remittee through different messengers, such as WhatsApp, Viber, Messenger, SMS, Mail, Skype, Telegram, etc. Image by: AraratBank Image by: AraratBank The remittee just clicks on the link, entering the numbers embossed on his/her own card and the amount is credited to the card in seconds. Moreover, the remittee can be a cardholder of a different bank, which means that remittances are available for cardholders of all ArCa-member commercial banks.A commission fee of 0.3% works for remittances. The service is provided at the speed of light, has a user-friendly and simple interface,” Gayane Stepanyan said.It is noted that on October 19 last year, AraratBank announced that the new application would be faster and more flexible to use, enhanced with new functionalities. “This promise has been already translated into reality,” the bank said in a statement.
