Yerevan /Mediamax/. The growth of Armenia’s GDP in January-July of 2008 totaled 10,6%, as compared to the same period of 2007##. As the press service of the National Statistical Service of Armenia told Mediamax today, the GDP volume in January-July of 2008 totaled 1 736 187,7mln drams. The volume of industrial production in the republic in January-July of 2008 stood at 428 184,9mln drams, having increased by 1.8%, as compared to the same period of 2007.The average monthly salary in Armenia in January-July of 2008 increased by 20.4%, as compared to the same period of 2007, thus making 87 908 drams. At that the salary of budget organizations increased by 16.7%, making 62 253 drams during the accounting period, and the salary of non-budget organizations stood at 108 679 drams (growth – 19,6%). The foreign trade turnover of Armenia in January-July of 2008 totaled 896bln drams or $2 920,2mln, having increased by 29,5 %, as compared to the same period of 2007.As the press service of the National Statistical Service of Armenia told Mediamax today, the export volume during the accounting period made 192.6bln drams or $628.1mln, and the import volume totaled 703,4bln drams or $2 292,1mln.The deficit of the foreign trade balance in January-July of 2008 made 510,8bln drams or $1 664mln.
