Mediamax reports that, speaking at a briefing in Yerevan today, Gurgen Sarkisian stated that the importers of petrol have no grounds for limiting the sales, since in the territory of Georgia there is no van with fuel for Armenia, which is not imported. “All these actions are ungrounded, artificial and are caused by a panic. Even if there is an emergency situation, Armenia has sufficient reserves of fuel and foodstuffs”, Gurgen Sarkisian stated. The Minister informed that today, starting from 02:00, 60 vans with various products were imported to Armenia from Georgia, 10 of which - with fuel, 12 - with aircraft kerosene, 11- with diesel oil, 4 - with wheat and 23 - with other goods. “At present, there are 18 vans with wheat in Georgia, which were loaded the day before yesterday in Poti and are on their way to Armenia”, Gurgen Sarkisian stated.
