Yerevan /Mediamax/. Growth of sales volumes of Yerevan Brandy Company (YBC) in 2007-2008 fiscal year made 24%##.

Mediamax reports that Managing Director of YBC Cedric Retailleau said this at a news conference today. He noted that the sales volume in the mentioned period made 4.2mln liters.

The growth of YBC sales in Russia made 29%, Ukraine - 26%, the Baltic States - 55%, Kazakhstan, and Armenia 14% each.

Cedric Retailleau noted the progress, reached by YBC in the markets of Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.

Soon the sales of ArArAt brandies will be initiated in Vietnam, Mongolia, Turkmenistan and Australia.

YBC, which is the importer of Pernod Ricard Group spirits to Armenia, in the fiscal year of 2007-2008 registered growth of imported label sales by 40%. The growth was particularly attained by such famous brands as Ballantine’s (72%), Havana Club (75%), Olmeca (51%), Beefeater (18%) and others.
