Russian entrepreneur, Head of the Union of Armenians of Russia Ara Abramyan sent a letter to the Armenian President Serzh Sarkisian##, in which he stated his intention to invest $150mln for implementing new economic initiatives in the republic. Mediamax reports that in this way Ara Abramyan reacted to Serzh Sarkisian’s urge to the representatives of Armenian Diaspora, made a few days ago during the youth gathering of “Baze” “The dynamics of the first 100 days of your presidency inspires hope that with our participation we will see the Armenia we dream of - successful, lacking social problems, having competitive economy and guaranteeing security”, Ara Abramyan stated. “I made a decision to respond to your urge and in the nearest future I am ready to invest $150mln for realization of new economic initiatives in the republic. I will also continue keeping in the center of attention my programs on supporting the creative unions, scientific and other establishments in Armenia”, Ara Abramyan’s letter reads. Mediamax notes that a few other large Armenian businessmen from Russia responded to the address of the Armenian President this week. Head of “Tashir Group” Holding Samvel Karapetyan stated his readiness to invest $250mln in Armenia, and the President of Russian “Uniastrumbank” Gagik Zakaryan stated that his investments will make $30mln.
