All commercial banks operating in Armenia are on the list of 1000 largest taxpayers of the Republic Armenia in January-June, 2021. In total, the banks have paid taxes of AMD 30.06 bln to the state budget as compared to AMD 25.17 bln paid during the same period of the previous year (growth by 19.4%).

According to the data of the second quarter of year 2021, Ameriabank is the largest taxpayer among Armenian banks; it has paid taxes to the state budget for the total amount of AMD 5.74 bln. As compared to the same period of the previous year, the amount of taxes paid by the bank increased by 83.5%, and the bank now ranks 12th on the list of taxpayers (it ranked 21st during the same period of the previous year).

Inecobank ranks second among the banks in terms of taxes paid (AMD 3.36 bln as compared to AMD 1.69 bln paid to the state budget during the same period of year 2020). The amount of taxes paid by Inecobank have grown by 99.6% as compared to the previous year, and the bank now ranks 21st on the list of taxpayers (it ranked 53rd during the same period of the previous year).

It is followed by ACBA Bank - AMD 3.02 bln (ranks 25th, 10% growth), Armbusinessbank - AMD 2.49 bln (ranks 30th, 10.5% growth), and Armeconombank is the fifth of the largest taxpayer banks - in the second quarter of year 2021 it paid taxes of AMD 2.41 bln to the state budget (ranks 31st, 57.9% growth).

Armswissbank - AMD 1.85 bln (ranks 55th, 14.6% drop);

VTB Bank (Armenia) - AMD 1.78 bln (ranks 59th, 38.5% growth);

IDBank - AMD 1.54 bln (ranks 69th, 128.4% growth);

AraratBank - AMD 1.14 bln (ranks 92nd, 16.3% growth);

Unibank - AMD 1.13 bln (ranks 94th, 28.8% drop);

HSBC Bank Armenia - AMD 1.12 bln (ranks 96th, 14.2% growth);

Converse Bank - AMD 1.11 bln (ranks 100th, 44.1% drop);

Byblos Bank Armenia - AMD 0.51 bln (ranks 215th, 6.8% growth);

Mellat Bank - AMD 0.48 bln (ranks 229th, 43.2% growth);

Evocabank - AMD 0.33 bln (ranks 327th, 68.2% drop);

Artsakhbank (Central branch) - AMD 0.12 bln (ranks 815th, 0.2% drop).
