“Bank of Georgia” and Galt&Taggart Bank signed a merger agreement.

Mediamax reports referring News-Georgia, according to the agreement, the merger will take place in the form of Galt&Taggart Bank joining “Bank Georgia”.

Earlier, Galt&Taggart Bank was called “Cascade Bank Georgia”. In January 2006, “Cascade Capital Holdings” announced the conclusion of the deal, according to which its subsidiary company “Cascade Bank” acquired Georgian “Emporiki Bank”, which was renamed into “Cascade Bank Georgia”.
