The International Trade Centre (ITC) and the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries (CBI) will hold a free training and individual consultations for Armenian SMEs from 26 February to 5 March.The training and consultations are aimed at promoting and selling Armenian products in international markets. 22.02.2021 | 17:08 Some sectors in Armenia’s food processing industry report export growth The training is organised as part of “Eastern Partnership: Ready to Trade,” an EU4Business initiative implemented by the International Trade Centre with the support of the EU. The free training will assist local companies in developing a successful pricing strategy which takes into account the risks and shifts in the global markets due to the COVID-19 crisis. It is designed for SMEs in the food processing sector. “As a result of the training, Armenian companies will gain hands-on experience on pricing segmentation, price calculation and cost modeling, as well as effective channels of communication and sales which will help them upgrade their marketing strategies,” said Karen Gevorgyan, National Project Manager of “Eastern Partnership: Ready to Trade” in Armenia.The training will be led by the CBI expert Reindert Dekker, who has worked for such major international organisations as the World Bank and the UNCTAD.More details on the training are available here.
