Yerevan /Mediamax/. From the beginning of 2008, the sales of Kia cars in Armenia increased for 80%, as compared to the same period of 2007##.

As Mediamax was told in the Marketing Department of the official and exclusive distributor of Kia Motors in Armenia, 100 cars have been sold starting from the beginning of the year.

Off-highway Kia Sportage enjoys the most demand in Armenia– 36 cars sold. Then come Kia Rio – 25 cars, Cerato – 16, Picanto – 12 and Sorento – 11.

80 out of 100 cars were sold in credit.

In 2008, a novelty from Kia will appear in the Armenian market – the off-highway Borrego, the debut of which took place in January of 2008 in the international auto show in Detroit.
