Yerevan /Mediamax/. Newly-elected Armenian President Serzh Sarkisian## intends to implement in Armenia a conception of state-private cooperation for solving the issues of economic development.

Mediamax reports that Serzh Sarkisian said this in an interview, published today in the “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”.

“The Armenian government puts forwards an ambitious task: to gain in regional competitive struggle the world recognition of a country, which secures the best conditions for entrepreneurship and investments. We intend to develop our competitive advantages in mining and chemical branches, construction industry, agriculture and science”, the newly-elected President stated.

“In all the enumerated spheres there is necessity that the largest enterprises be reconstructed into public companies with social responsibility. Both the Armenian citizens and the foreign investors should have opportunity to participate in the capital of those enterprises. To secure the given process, the government is ready to set up auspicious conditions, including - participate in the formation of infrastructures. We will implement the conception of state-private cooperation”, Serzh Sarkisian stated.
