Yerevan /Mediamax/. Presentation of the repaired building of “Ardshininvestbank” Head Office took place in Yerevan today##.

Mediamax reports that the Armenian President Robert Kocharian, who was present at the official ceremony of opening the building, highly assessed the work carried out, stressing that “not a single Armenian bank has such a strong office”.

According to the Armenian President, this precedent will become a stimulus for other banks and will assist healthy and strong competition in the banking sphere.

Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Tigran Sarkisian noted that exactly 5 years ago an open tender was announced, aiming at establishing auspicious conditions for customers of then “Ardshinbank”, as a result of which the new winner “Ardshininvestbank”, with the participation of the owner Karen Safarian, was revealed.

According to the assessment of the CB Chairman, the given decision fully justified itself. In 2003 a bank, which had assets of only 3bln drams, was put to sale, today the assets of “Ardshininvestbank” make 105bln drams.

As the Chairman of the Board of “Ardshininvestbank” Aram Andreasian stated, in the course of the recent 5 years, the bank registered quite high growth speeds as to all the basic indices. In the nearest future, the bank has intention to become an open joint stock company, “and open the doors for compatriots in the whole world, proposing them to become shareholders of the bank”.
