Yerevan /Mediamax/. The credit portfolio of Armenian commercial banks## as of February 29 of 2008 made 458 492mln drams, having increased for 30 105mln drams, as compared to January.

As Mediamax was told in the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the volume of credits, provided by banks in foreign currency, as of February 29 made 181 058mln drams, in national currency - 271 621mln drams.

As of January 31 of 2008, the number of customers in commercial banks of Armenia made 936 876, having increased for 3006 people, as compared to December of 2007. 45 667 represented legal entities, 891 209 – individuals.

As of January 31 of 2008, 1 110 500 banking accounts were functioning in Armenian banks, having increased for 6100, as compared to December of 2007.
