The Central Bank of Armenia has issued 3 collector coins dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of renowned Armenian landscape and portrait painting master Yeghishe Tadevossian, the 125th anniversary of the birth of prominent Armenian actor Hrachia Nersisyan, and the 100th anniversary of the birth of famous French filmmaker, writer of Armenian origin Henry Verneuil.The obverse of the coin dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Yeghishe Tadevossian bears a fragment from his “Justine, the painter’s wife” (1903) painting.
