Technology Trends in Finance reception and networking event will be held in Yerevan on March 12 for experts from financial companies.

The event is organized by global software engineering firm DataArt, which offers financial, healthcare, tourism, media and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. The participants will have the opportunity to explore the ways in which financial market leaders are evolving their software capabilities to address their business challenges, as well as to learn about developments in other fields.  

“Continued evolution of technology drives relentless change and innovation in all industry sectors, and finance is no exception. Key trends like data and analytics, machine learning and AI, blockchain, and the growing adoption of cloud computing, among others, are changing the way financial institutions compete and serve their customers,” DataArt said in a press statement.

Head of DataArt Armenia Arsen Baghdasaryan will deliver opening remarks. Mr Baghdasaryan has told Banks.am that “it’s very important to have such an event in Yerevan to keep up with global trends”.

“Current tech trends in finance are looking toward the future, and as a country where IT is a key industry, Armenia has to stay up-to-date. It is also an opportunity to study the experience of global market leaders and introduce our strong points,” he added.

The event will feature as speakers Alexey Utkin, Head of Data Analytics at DataArt; Denis Baranov, Head of Blockchain Center of Excellence at DataArt; Oleg Komissarov, Principal Consultant, Finance Practice, DataArt; and Peter Vaihansky, SVP at DataArt. The panel will be moderated by Suren Azatyan, DataArt’s VP of Business Development.
