Yerevan has been selected as the host for the Annual Meeting of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in 2021.

Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Avinyan has announced the news, citing the decision of the EBRD Board of Governors.

“The Annual Meeting is the most important event for EBRD. In the spring of 2021, Armenia will be in the spotlight for representatives of 69 member states of the bank and other guests. This is a significant achievement and recognition of the progress Armenia has made in politics and economy,” stated Avinyan.
