Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has underlined the importance of eliminating obstacles and restrictions still present within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which hinder formation of a common economic zone.“We need to intensify the efforts aimed at creating common energy and transportation markets based on non-discriminatory approaches to pricing, tariffs and availability of services,” Pashinyan remarked at the session of Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The Prime Minister has stressed that Armenia is always actively involved in and supportive of the formation and implementation of EAEU’s digital agenda.“We believe that by creating an ecosystem of digital transportation channels, we will decrease the distance between the manufacturers, sellers and consumers of goods and services. That change can substantially reduce the time we spend searching for optimal ways and methods to transport goods, which is going to be an improvement for the market,” added Pashinyan.
