With support from IDBank, World Vision Armenia bought decent clothing and school supplies of urgent necessity to 100 school students living in Vardenis and Tchambarak areas within its “Back to School” donation campaign.

«It is hard to perceive and record that numerous families in Armenia are even unable to provide necessary school items for their children. World Vision’s “Back to School” campaign was an excellent opportunity to help these families and somehow release their burden.  Education is of particular importance for IDBank and the improvement of the quality of education is necessity for the development and wellbeing of our society.  However, before coming to educational issues, it is important to solve some social problems, which we undertook together with World Vision Armenia,” says Tatevik Vardevanyan, Communications Manager in IDBank.

Back in August 2019,  World Vision Armenia launched “Back to School” donation campaign which aims at supporting children of extremely poor familiies not to miss the school due to the lack of proper clothing and school items.

IDBank was eager to join donation campaign; IDBank supported to install banners on the busy streets of Yerevan to promote passers-by to donate for the “Back to School” campaign.  World Vision also installed envelopes with fliers in all the branches of IDBank and the clients, as well as the staff members of the bank had the opportunity to donate for the wellbeing of Armenia’s children.

“World Vision highly appreciates the cooperation with IDBank. We are thankful for supporting “Back to School” campaign. These partnership and support allows World Vision Armenia to create opportunities for the children in the extremely poor families to enjoy life in all its fullness,” says Zhirayr Edilyan, World Vision Armenia National Director.

“For already two years, IDBank supports World Vision Armenia in fundraising initiatives that aim to improve the lives of children living in needy families; in 2018, 150 children enjoyed summer holidays in World Vision’s educational summer camps with financial support from IDBank,” the press release reads.
